Queensland Bus Industry Council
Presenter: Jack Kotlyar, Head of Green Transport, EnergyAustralia
Overview
Queensland is committed to shifting to a zero net emissions future.
100% of eligible Queensland Government fleet passenger vehicles are to be zero emission by 2026. Every new TransLink-funded bus added to the fleet will be a zero-emission bus from 2025 in South East Queensland and from 2025-2030 across regional Queensland.
We are discussing a very near future where transitioning to battery electric buses is the only certainty.
Embarking on your clean energy transformation journey with your fleet of electric buses and building the charging infrastructure to keep your buses and business moving in such a short time can seem daunting.
As energy experts, and we are here to make this transition to an electrified fleet simple and easy for you.
