Embracing Transformation - Navigating the Era of Change
The Passenger Transport Industry over the next five years will face a tremendous amount of change, or will it simply become a continuum of change where Operators simply have to adapt evolve. The 2024 QBIC Conference, on the 5th and 6th of April at RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast, is our opportunity to help Members get a full understanding of what change is on the horizon and beyond.
Operators, Industry Suppliers and Government at all levels need to be cognisant, understand the impacts and prepare a plan for each of the changes. The challenges the industry faces include federal legislative changes (eg HVNL and industrial relations) and state based change in relation to passenger transport contracts, technology advancements and societal changes. Our industry must work collaboratively to deliver and promote the long term sustainability of public passenger transport in Queensland.
The Gold Coast in April, experiences eceptional weather with average temperatures range from 17 to 26 degrees. The days are sunny, making it an ideal time for outdoor activities and a popular month for tourists to enjoy the region’s beautiful beaches and outdoor attractions and school holiday attractions including theme parks.
