Toowoomba Regional Members Forum - Friday, 21st February 2025
QBIC Member Forums present a valuable opportunity to network with fellow operators, supply partners and government officials within the industry. These forums serve as platforms for sharing information, fostering discussions and exploring potential solutions relevant to industry challenges and your business requirements. QBIC accomplishes this through the provision of industry updates, workshops and seminars integrated into the forum agenda.
Phil Jones from Saltera Training will present a session around the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) and their Heavy Vehicle Safety Strategy Action Plan for 2024 – 2025, this will focus on how to promote human factors, including fatigue risk management, and associated technologies to improve safety outcomes and compliance expectations. The session will then discuss how to attract and retain drivers through quality internal and external training processes, targeting identified omitted driver skill sets, and professional development pathways ensuring a competent and stable workforce.
