MEMBER'S RIGHTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Member's Rights

QBIC Members have the following rights:
    • To be treated with courtesy and respect
    • To be informed of events and changes within the Industry
    • To be assessed as eligible to become a Member without discrimination
    • To attend Conferences and forums (fee based or non fee based)
    • To attend Annual General meetings in accordance with the Rules of the Association
    • To vote at Annual or Special General meetings in accordance with the Rules of the Association
    • To access the Complaints process
    • To have any complaint dealt with fairly, promptly and without prejudice or retribution
    • To privacy and confidentiality
    • To withdraw Membership in accordance with the Rules of the Association
    • To attend QBIC Committee meetings as a Guest provided that:
      • A request is made and approved by the Chair in advance of the meeting
      • Guests only enter into discussion when invited to do so by the Chair
      • It is acknowledged that Guests do not have any voting rights
      • All discussions and information exchanges at the meeting are treated as “Confidential” and not disclosed or conveyed to any other party


      Member's Responsibilities

      QBIC Members have the following responsibilities:

        • To respect QBIC Committees, other Members, Staff and the Association Rules, Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives
        • To pay annual Membership subscriptions and any other invoices in a timely manner
        • To complete annually the Fleet and Staffing Update form
        • To participate from time to time in activities and information gathering exercises for the betterment of the Industry as a whole
