Queensland Bus Industry Council
The Australian Bus & Coach Industry will hold its first National School Bus Summit at the National Convention Centre in Canberra on June 27, 2018.
The Summit Program will endeavour to find the answers to some big questions currently facing the School Bus sector in Australia. This is a great opportunity for anyone engaged in school transport to become engaged and contribute to Australia’s future school travel systems. We invite school principles and administrators, school bus government representatives, bus operators and managers to attend this 1 day forum in Canberra.
The program for this year’s Summit builds on the discussions held at the 2017 Summit. Delegates at last year’s Summit agreed that the National Policy Statement for the Long Distance, Charter and Express (LDCE) sector needed to be updated and include within it, the 2027 strategy for innovative ways that the coach mode share for the tourism dollar can be increased, including new niche traveller experiences and marketing what the coach sector has to offer.
All QBIC Members/Supply Partners are invited to attend.
